Abstract: RESUMEN: El objetivo principal de este trabajo es analizar el cambio en el rol de la mujer durante el Franquismo, siguiendo un orden cronológico para facilitar su comprensión. También ofrece un pequeño inciso sobre diferentes grupos feministas de la época y acaba por analizar en profundidad las actividades llevadas a cabo por el SESM. En las conclusiones me pregunto por el propio significado de la palabra ‘feminismo’ y si se puede considerar como tarea de tal calibre el trabajo del SESM. ABSTRACT: The main objective of this work is to analyze the change in the role of women during the Franco regime, establishing a chronological order to facilitate their understanding. It also offers a small section on different feminist groups of the time and has just analyzed in depth the activities carried out by the SESM. In the conclusions I ask myself about the proper meaning of the word 'feminism' and if the work of SESM can be considered as a task of such calibre
