La oferta de formación superior en educación en museos en España

Resumen: La formación superior en museos tiene una importancia central en la profesionalización de los educadores de museos para que estos cumplan su función educativa. En este artículo analizamos la oferta existente de formación superior en educación en museos en España e identificamos los principales obstáculos hacia la profesionalización de los educadores de museos. Aunque existen algunos programas de formación superior en las universidades españolas, la oferta es escasa y no todos son títulos universitarios oficiales homologados por el Ministerio de Educación.
Higher education in museums has got a central importance in the professionalization of the educators of museums so that they fulfill their educational function. In this article we analyze the offer in higher education in museum education in Spain and identify the main obstacles to the professionalization of museum educators. Although there are some higher education programs in Spanish universities, the offer is scarce and not all are official university degrees approved by the Ministry of Education
