000086207 5203_ $$aEl presente artículo pone el punto de mira en la relación del judeocristianismo con las religiones del entorno helenístico oriental, en el que nace y se concreta, en el tema particular de la concepción virginal de Jesús. De esta manera, se expone en primer lugar la problemática general y la metodología mediante la que se aborda, basada en el estudio del léxico religioso. A continuación, se presenta el problema concreto de la concepción virginal de Jesús y se verifica a través de la utilización por parte de Mt. 1, 23 del vocablo παρθένος/עַלְמָה presente en Is. 7, 14, resultando de ello el énfasis evangélico en una noción virginal que no era importante en el texto veterotestamentario. Esta reivindicación se encuadra en el ámbito de las diversas doctrinas judeocristianas que polemizaban en torno a la cuestión de la cristología. La conclusión a la que se apunta es que la idea de concepción virginal es ajena al judaísmo y más propia de su contexto helénico, puesto que contribuye a un proceso típicamente griego como es la divinización de un individuo.
This paper focuses on the relationship among Judeo-Christianity and the religions of the Oriental Hellenized environment in which this cult was born and on the specific issue of the virginal conception of Jesus. First, there is a general outlook of the question and the methodology used, based on the study of religious vocabulary. Then, the problem of the virginal conception of Jesus is approached through the use in Mt. 1:23 of the word παρθένος/ ,taken from Is. 7:14, to emphasize the notion of virginity ָה ְמ ַלע which was not as important in the Old Testament text. This claim is framed by the background of the different Judeo-Christian doctrines that polemicized around the controversy of Christology. The conclusion hinted is the alienation of the idea of virginal conception from Judaism and its roots in the Hellenic context, because this notion promotes a typical Greek process: the deification of a human being.
