000088840 520__ $$aEste estudio analiza la concepción de la muerte en la Edad Moderna y lo que para aquellos contemporáneos significaba el buen morir. Para ello, ha sido inevitable retroceder en el tiempo y centrar el foco de atención en los últimos años de la Edad Media, ya que será aquí cuando se empiece a divulgar el arte de bien morir. Además, en él, trataremos sobre la importancia que tuvo la Iglesia en todo este entramado y cómo se comercializó con la muerte, sobre todo tras el Concilio de Trento. <br />The present project analyses the conception of death in the Modern Age as well as what “ars moriendi” meant to those contemporaries. To this end, it has been inevitable to move backwards in time and focus attention on the last years of the Middle Age, since it was in that period when the art of “ars moriendi” began to spread. In addition, we will discuss the relevance the church in the matter and how death was commercialized, especially after the Council of Trent. <br /><br />
