However, these applications require high-dimensional and high-resolution transport data, which introduces significant performance and storage constraints. Additionally, due to different sources of noise in both captured and synthesized data, the signal becomes significantly degraded over time, compromising the quality of the results. In this work, we tackle these issues by proposing a method that extracts meaningful sets of features to accurately represent time-resolved light transport data. Our method reduces the size of time-resolved transport data up to a factor of 32, while significantly mitigating variance in both temporal and spatial dimensions. 000089755 536__ $$9info:eu-repo/grantAgreement/EC/H2020/682080/EU/Intuitive editing of visual appearance from real-world datasets/CHAMELEON$$9This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under grant agreement No H2020 682080-CHAMELEON$$9info:eu-repo/grantAgreement/ES/MINECO/TIN2016-78753-P 000089755 540__ $$9info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess$$aby$$uhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/es/ 000089755 590__ $$a3.776$$b2020 000089755 591__ $$aOPTICS$$b22 / 99 = 0.222$$c2020$$dQ1$$eT1 000089755 592__ $$a1.524$$b2020 000089755 593__ $$aAtomic and Molecular Physics, and Optics$$c2020$$dQ1 000089755 655_4 $$ainfo:eu-repo/semantics/article$$vinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion 000089755 700__ $$aChen, Mingqin 000089755 700__ $$aHuang, Zesheng 000089755 700__ $$0(orcid)0000-0002-7503-7022$$aGutierrez, Diego$$uUniversidad de Zaragoza 000089755 700__ $$0(orcid)0000-0002-8160-7159$$aMuñoz, Adolfo$$uUniversidad de Zaragoza 000089755 700__ $$0(orcid)0000-0001-9960-8945$$aMarco, Julio$$uUniversidad de Zaragoza 000089755 7102_ $$15007$$2570$$aUniversidad de Zaragoza$$bDpto.
