For this purpose it goes back to talk about the different types of female heroines that appeared in action cinema at the time when the most popular male led action films were released. Once having put it into context, the analysis starts by talking about all the different kinds of women that appear in Mad Max: Fury Road and then procedes to talk about the character of Furiosa and how she, along with the star persona of Charlize theron, is promoting gender equality. Because her and Max share the spotlight of the leading roles they portray a more integrative approach to feminism in which men and women work together to finally achieve respect for strong female leads.<br />RESUMEN<br />Este trabajo de fin de grado habla sobre Furiosa, la protagonista femenina de la película Mad Max: Furia en la carretera (George Miller, 2015). Para poder hablar de esto se remonta a los distintos tipos de heroínas que aparecían en el cine de acción en la época de lanzamiento de las películas de acción masculinas más populares. Una vez puesto el tema en contexto, el análisis comienza hablando de todos los distintos tipos de mujeres que aparecen en Mad Max: Furia en la carretera. Continúa hablando del personaje de Furiosa y cómo esta, junto con lo que representa el personaje de Charlize Theron, promueve la igualdad de género.
