Somos privados y somos públicos. Somos físicos y somos digitales. La forma en la que habitamos ha cambiado tanto como la manera en la que nos definimos a nosotros mismos. Nuestros hogares se han pluralizado y universalizado, y nosotros con ellos. <br />Vivimos en WhatsApp, Facebook, Tinder, Instagram, Pinterest y Twitter al igual que en la universidad, en el gimnasio, en los bares, en la cocina, en los parques y en el baño.<br />Pero para poder entender la realidad online que habitamos y las consecuencias que ha causado en el hogar, es necesario conocer previamente de dónde venimos.<br />Se plantea el estudio e investigación de la transcendencia que han tenido los cambios sociales y culturales, producidos desde la primera mitad del siglo XX hasta el día de hoy, en 2020. Así como las implicaciones que estos han generado en la modificación de la domesticidad y en la concepción del hogar; mediante un análisis del recorrido de IKEA desde su aparición en el mercado a su instauración como gigante de la domesticidad actual. <br />-<br />We are alike and different. We are private and public. We are physical and digital at the same time. The way we live has changed as much as the way we describe ourselves.
