000097553 520__ $$aResumen<br />Las Madres de Plaza de Mayo comenzaron su lucha en 1977, después de una larga búsqueda de sus hijos e hijas desaparecidos bajo el régimen dictatorial del General Videla. Para la prensa nacional, los desaparecidos no existían y, por tanto, tampoco las Madres. ¿Qué ocurría con la prensa internacional? A través de los diarios más leídos de España, Francia, Reino Unido y Estados Unidos analizaremos la importancia que tuvieron las Madres a nivel mundial durante los años 1977 y 1985.<br />Palabras clave: Madres de Plaza de Mayo, desaparecidos, Argentina, prensa internacional.<br />Abstract<br />The Mothers of Plaza de Mayo began their struggle in 1977, after a long search for their sons and daughters who had disappeared under the dictatorial regime of General Videla. For the national press, the disappeared did not exist and therefore neither did the Mothers. What was happening with the international press? Through the most widely read newspapers in Spain, France, United Kingdom and the United States, we will analyze the importance that the Mothers had worldwide during the years 1977 and 1985.<br />Key words: Mothers of Plaza de Mayo, missing person, Argentina, international press.<br /><br />
