Resumen: Este artículo estudia el paralelismo entre dos artistas del exilio republicano español, Eleuterio Blasco Ferrer y José García Tella, y sus diferencias en el proceso de recuperación, pues mientras
el primero tiene espacio museístico, el segundo se encuentra ausente en los museos y en la historia del arte español. Se pondrán de relieve el regreso y la reintegración en los lugares de origen como
cuestiones clave para la reivindicación memorialista de las figuras de la diáspora, mientras que el no retorno se enfrenta a la otra cara, la del olvido.T
his article studies the parallel paths of two artists from the Spanish republican exile: Eleuterio Blasco Ferrer and José García Tella, and their differences in the recovery process. Whereas Eleuterio Blasco Ferrer has museum spaces, José García Tella does not and is absent from Spain’s art history. The return and reintegration into places of origin as basis for the vindication of memories of figures from the diaspora will be highlighted, while non-return addresses the other side, that of oblivion. © 2022, Pontificia Universidad Catolica Argentina.
