Para ello, se ha realizado un estudio descriptivo en el que han participado 684 docentes de Educación física de todas las comunidades autónomas. Los docentes han respondido un cuestionario formado por cinco dimensiones: tecnológica, pedagógica, curricular, emocional e higiénico-sanitaria. El procedimiento metodológico ha seguido los estándares éticos de la investigación para la educación y las ciencias del deporte. Los resultados obtenidos muestran como la COVID-19 ha condicionado la enseñanza de la Educación física en el primer curso de regreso a las aulas. El cumplimiento de los protocolos de contingencia, las limitaciones de espacio y material, el desamparo institucional y la incertidumbre ante una situación totalmente nueva, han generado estrés y desgaste emocional en el profesorado. La pandemia de la COVID-19 ha acelerado el uso de la tecnología, el fomento de la autonomía del alumnado y la necesidad de seleccionar contenidos curriculares acordes con los protocolos de contingencia. El uso de metodologías activas mediadas por tecnología que impulsen la autorregulación del alumnado abre las puertas a nuevos entornos de aprendizaje híbridos en Educación física que deberán ser estudiados. The aim of this research was to analyse the changes that COVID-19 have caused in Physical Education during the 2020-2021 academic course in post-pandemic years in Spain. For this purpose, a descriptive study was carried out with the participation of 684 physical education teachers from all the autonomous communities. The teachers answered a questionnaire consisting of five approaches: technological, pedagogical, curricular, emotional and health and hygiene. The methodological procedure followed the ethical standards of research in education and sports science. The results obtained show how COVID-19 has conditioned the teaching of Physical Education in the first year back to the classroom. Compliance with the contingency protocols, the limitations of space and material, the institutional helplessness, and the uncertainty in the face of a totally new situation have generated stress and emotional exhaustion in the teaching staff. The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the use of technology, the promotion of student autonomy and the need to select curricular content in accordance with the contingency protocols. The use of active methodologies mediated by technology that promote self-regulation of learning, opens the door to new hybrid teaching models in Physical Education that should be studied.
