El Arte Gitano como Herramienta de Inclusión en el Aula: La Historia Social del Arte para Alumnos de Secundaria.

Abstract: La Historia Social del Arte puede contribuir a enriquecer al alumnado en los espacios educativos mediante el conocimiento de la cultura y de la forma de vida de un pueblo, comunidad o colectivo, puesto que detrás de la obra y del creador hay toda una serie de circunstancias que contextualizan el objeto representado y el momento histórico. La siguiente investigación recopila arte gráfico-plástico y audiovisual producido por gitanos, y arte en el que aparecen representados gitanos producido por la sociedad mayoritaria, con el objetivo, por un lado, de favorecer la inclusión del alumnado gitano y su interés en el contenido académico mediante conocimientos relacionados con la identidad, la historia y la cultura gitana, y por otro lado de contribuir al currículo educativo del alumnado en general, reduciendo los estereotipos hacia el Pueblo Gitano y abriendo nuevas posibilidades culturales y creativas. Para ello, además de la búsqueda iconográfica, se han recapitulado datos sobre la situación del Pueblo Gitano en materias como la educación española actual, colocando en un primer plano a los docentes y su responsabilidad en el compromiso por la inclusión y la multiculturalidad en las aulas.
The Social History of Art can contribute to enriching students in educational spaces through knowledge of the culture and the way of life of a people, community or group, since behind the work and the creator there are a whole series of circumstances that contextualize the represented object and the historical moment. The following research compiles graphic-plastic and audiovisual art produced by Roma People, and art in which Roma People are represented produced by the majority society, with the aim, on the one hand, of favoring the inclusion of Roma students and their interest in academic content through knowledge related to Roma identity, history and culture, and on the other hand by contributing to the educational curriculum of students in general, reducing stereotypes towards the Roma People and opening up new cultural and creative possibilities. For this, in addition to the iconographic search, data on the situation of the Roma People in matters such as current Spanish education have been recapitulated, placing teachers and their responsibility in the commitment to inclusion and multiculturalism in the classroom in the foreground.
