Determining the success of forest species after a fire is important and the satellite imagery is useful to monitor de progression of the green-up level. In this work the evolution of the NDVI index is studied by means of a series of 17 Landsat images, quantifying the species recovery through the progression of the index, both in absolute and relative terms in respect to a reference period. A possible relation between NDVI changes over time and climate variables is also ana-lyzed.
