El gremio de albañiles y carpinteros de Tarazona durante la Edad Moderna

Resumen: El presente artículo aborda el estudio del funcionamiento del gremio de albañiles y carpinteros de la ciudad de Tarazona que, además, daba cabida a los torneros y cuberos. Su cofradía, dedicada a San José e instalada en el claustro de la catedral, fue fundada en la década de 1590. Pese
a que debían estar regidos por un reglamento interno, no fue hasta el año 1702 cuando decidieron redactar sus ordenanzas que se conservan en el Archivo Municipal de Tarazona. Éstas les gobernarían hasta comienzos del siglo XIX, momento en que los gremios desaparecieron por completo.
The present article approaches the study of the functioning of the union of bricklayers and carpenters of Tarazona that, in addition, it was giving content to the turners and coopers. His confraternity dedicated to St. Joseph and installed in the cathedral’s cloister, was founded in 1590s. In
spite of that they must be governed by an internal regulation, it was not until the year 1702 when they decided to write his ordinances that remain in Tarazona’s Municipal Archive. These would govern them until beginning of the 19th century, moment in which the unions disappeared completely.
