Specifically, it aims to provide solutions to certain deficiencies that can be found in the published English translation of the Spanish corpus. For this purpose, an analysis of the English translation has been carried out, considering previous studies on the translation of cultural and linguistic elements. The analysis starts from the premise that some of the English translation samples that will be studied will have shortcomings that can be later improved by using some of the tools provided by the literature. Certain theoretical aspects of the literature concerning the translation of linguistic and cultural elements can be applied to tourism texts and can be used in many cases to improve the final translation.
