Hablando de patrimonio industrial: el documental Luz de gas

Resumen: El pasado 19 de noviembre se realizó el primer pase del documental Luz de gas en las V Jornadas de Patrimonio organizadas por el Centro de Estudios del Bajo Martín (CEBM). Ante la desaparición de la central térmica de Andorra, se consideró que era el momento idóneo para narrar el impacto que tanto la fábrica como las minas habían tenido en la vida de la gente de la localidad, así como en el conjunto de la comarca. El documental ha buscado recoger su recuerdo y sus perspectivas de futuro, analizar su trayectoria y reflexionar sobre el modelo económico y social que ha supuesto para un territorio que, actualmente, vive con incertidumbre la próxima etapa de su historia. La iniciativa partió de un grupo de profesoras del Departamento de Historia del Arte de la Universidad de Zaragoza, y ha sido posible gracias a la ayuda concedida por el Gobierno de Aragón, la Diputación de Zaragoza, la Cátedra Gonzalo Borrás y el Instituto de Patrimonio y Humanidades (IPH).

On November 19, the first showing of the documentary Luz de gas was held at the V Jornadas de Patrimonio organized by Centro de Estudios del Bajo Martín (CEBM). Given the disappearance of the thermal power plant in Andorra, it was considered the ideal time to narrate the impact that both the factory and the mines had had on the lives of the local people, as well as on the region as a whole. The documentary has sought to collect his memory and his future perspectives, analyze his career and
reflect on the economic and social model that it has meant for a territory that is currently experiencing the next stage of its history with uncertainty. The initiative started from a group of professors from the Department of Art History of the University of Zaragoza, and has been possible thanks to the help granted by the Gobierno de Aragón, the Diputación de Zaragoza, the Cátedra Gonzalo Borrás and the Instituto de Patrimonio y Humanidades (IPH).
