Resumen: The University of Zaragoza is going to implement a new project called Sello 1+5 Unizar, which incorporates six transversal competencies in all its bachelor's (undergraduate) and master's degree programs. In this final thesis I analyze the framework of transversal competencies and the imperative need to implement this type of initiative in higher education, given the current demands of the labor market. This project intends to increase the employability of students by aligning education with the demands of the labor market. The analysis includes various studies by multinational companies and researchers and provides a detailed overview of the Unizar 1+5 Seal Project. In addition, a survey was conducted to assess the current situation of students at the University of Zaragoza in relation to the development of transversal competencies prior to the implementation of the project. The survey also collected their perceptions and attitudes towards this type of initiatives and towards transversal competencies in general.
