Notas: In this Final Grade Paper, I want to show an open and innovative method of teaching mathematics at early ages known as the Number Based Algorithm Method (ABN). This novel, flexible and open calculation methodology allows children to have a more dynamic and active role in the process of learning basic mathematics, as they are the protagonists of their learning by determining how to decompose, seriate, classify, group, etc. , helping them to reason for themselves, reaching the same result as in the traditional method. In this work, I will focus on comparing it with the traditional method, on knowing the criteria on which it is based, its operation and its application in a classroom of the second cycle of Infant Education, all of this, starting from objectives to be achieved, and through a proposal for educational intervention aimed at the second cycle of Infant Education with different playful and motivating work sessions for children to have fun while learning. These activities are based on the number.
