Vida musical de las Miguelas de Huesca: el canto y el órgano

Resumen: En la bella y milenaria ciudad de Huesca (Aragón, España) se encuentra el Monasterio de Carmelitas Calzadas de la Encarnación, llamado familiar y cariñosamente de las Miguelas, por estar dedicada la Iglesia a San Miguel. Este artículo se refiere a algunos aspectos de la presencia musical en su vida cotidiana en la que se advierten ecos que provienen del pasado, pero en un presente que es marco de espiritualidad atemporal. Las sonoridades de las campanas, las notas del órgano y el evanescente misterio del sonido del salterio reviste de belleza el ambiente sonoro y austero de esta casa singular. En la vida contemplativa de este cenobio, la música acompaña la espiritualidad cotidiana.
In the beautiful and ancient city of Huesca (Aragon, Spain), there is the Monastery of the Carmelite Order of the Incarnation, affectionately and familiarly known as the Miguelas, due to the Church being dedicated to Saint Michael. This article refers to some aspects of the musical presence in their daily life, which shows echoes from the past, but in a present that serves as a framework for timeless spirituality. The sounds of the bells, the notes of the organ, and the evanescent mystery of the sound of the psaltery adorn the soundscape and austere environment of this unique house with beauty. In the contemplative life of this cenobium, music accompanies everyday spirituality.
