Abstract: This Master Dissertation explores the role of films in the L2 classroom as a resource for increasing students' motivation for learning and using the English language. It also analyses the use of films as a resource for enhancing students' listening and speaking skills. For this purpose, a work plan with a film is proposed. This work plan has been implemented in first year of Compulsory Secondary Education, and it is used as the basis for the conclusions presented in the Dissertation.
