Análisis de la supervivencia y el crecimiento de la plantación forestal del año 2015 en los Montes de Utilidad Pública de La Zoma (Teruel).

Notas: The forest fires can degrade ecosystems, causing loss of environmental and social services. Therefore after the fire of Aliaga in 2009, the company aquabona, belonging to “The Coca-Cola Company”, in collaboration with “Ecologia y Desarrollo”, the DGA and the University of Zaragoza, are developing the "Plantano agua" project, whose main objective is the ecological restoration of 1,230 has, most of them are located in the municipality of La Zoma (Teruel). The objective of the present degree thesis is to analyze the survival and growth of planted species on phase II (2015-16). To assess the effect of the stand the environmental unit (exporting or importing) and total plantation, on these two parameters. And also how it affects the survival to the summer effect. To this end, two stands are displayed, stand 9 repopulated with Quercus ilex, Juniperus oxycedrus, Juniperus phoenicea and Crataegus monogyna, and the restocked stand 13 with Pinus sylvestris, Acer monspesulanum, Sorbus domestica and Quercus faginea. Results after the first summer, gave high survival rates, as well as for the whole of the plantation (78.4%), as for both stands and for all the species studied, except Pinus sylvestris, which presented a medium survival rate (66.81%). Regarding the growth, a generalized increase of the basal diameter was observed in all the species (0.65 - 1.05 mm), but the data taken in the field of the height of the stem were not enough to apply the statistical tests. Differences in survival and growth between species were observed in the different study scales (plantation set, stands and environmental units).
