                       intestine triggered by exposure to gluten in genetically
                       predisposed individuals. It is a disease that affects 1 in
                       100 people in our country, and those diagnosed have to
                       follow a strict gluten-free diet that will affect their
                       personal, social and emotional lives. In the educational
                       field, there have been an increase in diagnosed cases and
                       therefore celiac children who may feel isolated during
                       school activities involving food. This work has as main
                       objective to analyze the knowledge of the celiac disease
                       among teachers in Infant and Primary Education, while
                       working with pupils sufferig from celiac disease in class
                       to promote attitudes of respect and support to school,
                       families and to children themselves. For this purpose, 341
                       teachers of Infant and Primary Education have returned a 
                       questionnaire. This research reveals the need to improve
                       the training of Infant and Primary teachers on celiac
                       disease and pupils with special nutritional needs.",
