Resumen: Breve presentación de la asignatura Desarrollo de la Expresión Musical es una asignatura de 6 créditos ECTS. Se realizan sesiones teóricas y sesiones prácticas en las que se pretende dar al estudiante las herramientas necesarias para el desarrollo de la expresión musical en Educación Infantil. Se trata de una formación en y a través de la música para adquirir los conocimientos y recursos necesarios para que un docente pueda integrar la educación musical de forma eficaz en la Educación Infantil. Programa de la asignatura  1. INFLUENCIA DE LA MÚSICA EN EL DESARROLLO INFANTIL 1.1 La música en las primeras etapas de vida 1.2. Desarrollo evolutivo y educación musical 1.3. Fundamentos psicopedagógicos de la educación musical. 2. ENFOQUES Y METODOLOGÍAS DE EDUCACIÓN MUSICAL Y SU APLICACIÓN A LA EDUCACIÓN INFANTIL 2.1. Bases y precedentes de la educación musical: Dalcroze, Orff, Willems, Kodaly y Martenot entre otros. 2.2. La creatividad y el desarrollo de nuevos lenguajes: por ejemplo Schaffer, Paynter, Schafer, Denis y Self, entre otros. 3. LOS BLOQUES DE CONTENIDO DE LA EDUCACIÓN MUSICAL EN INFANTIL 3.1. Expresión Vocal y Corporal 3.2. Expresión y coordinación instrumental 3.3. Lenguaje Musical (preconceptual). 3.4. Contrastes sonoros: Altura, Intensidad, Duración, Timbre, Velocidad. 4. MATERIALES Y RECURSOS PARA LA ENSEÑANZA DE LA MÚSICA EN EDUCACIÓN INFANTIL 4.1. Repertorio de canciones 4.2. Repertorio de audiciones 4.3. Instrumentos musicales, juguetes sonoros, etc 4.4. Repertorio de actividades de movimiento expresivo y danza infantil. 5. CONCEPTOS MUSICALES BÁSICOS PARA TRABAJAR CON EL ALUMNO DE GRADO DE MAESTRO EN EDUCACIÓN INFANTIL 5.1. Notación musical: Figuras y notas. 5.2. Unidades métricas o compases 5.3. Combinaciones rítmicas y melódicas 5.4. Intervalos 5.5. Forma y estructura 5.6. Otros códigos

Abstract: Brief presentation of the subject Development of Musical Expression is a 6 ECTS credits subject. There are theorical and practical sessions. In which student adquire didactic tools, in order to teach music at kindergarten level. The intention is to integrate music in general education.   Syllabus of the subject 1. INFLUENCE OF MUSIC IN CHILD DEVELOPMENT. Music in the early stages of life. Evolutive development and music education. Psychological and pedagogical foundations.  2. APPROACHES AND METHODOLOGIES OF MUSICAL EDUCATION AND ITS APPLICATION TO EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION. Foundations and precedents of music education: Dalcroze , Orff, Willems , Kodaly and Martenot, among others. Music creativity and development of new languages: Schaffer, Paynter, Schafer, Denis y Self among others. 3. MUSIC EDUCATION IN KINDERGARTEN. Vocal and body expression. Instrumental expression and coordination. Musical language (preconceptual). Sound contrast (Pitch, dynamics, duration, timbre, velocity). 4. MATERIALS AND RESOURCES FOR MUSIC TEACHING IN KINDERGARTEN. Repertoire of songs. Repertoire of auditions. Musical instruments, sound toys, etc. Repertoire of Expressive movement activities. 5. BASIC MUSICAL CONCEPTS FOR STUDENTS AT THIS SUBJECT. Musical notation: notes and rests. Metric units or time signatures. Rithmical and melodic combinations. Intervals. Musical form and structure. Other codes.
