Alta et versicolor Bilbilis

Resumen: En este estudio se analizan los diferentes conjuntos pictóricos exhumados en Bilbilis durante sus más de cuarenta años de excavaciones. Exponemos una revisión y actualización de las decoraciones, in situ o en estado fragmentario, y su relación con la arquitectura, que nos permiten afirmar que la pintura, en este municipium, fue uno de los medios de expresión más notorios, a través del cual podemos acercarnos a las formas de vida de los habitantes que poblaron la ciudad, desde la segunda mitad del s. I a.C. hasta el s. II d.C.
This study examines the different pictorial sets exhumed at Bilbilis during more than forty years of excavations. We show a revision and updating of decorations, in situ or infragmentary status, and its relationship to architecture, which allow us to say that painting, in this municipium, was one of the most notorious media of expression, through which we can approach to the ways of life of the people who inhabited the city, from the second half of the century I B.C. to century II A.C.
