ABSTRACT This end of degree project presents the design of a walnut plantation with a drip irrigation system in a 26.5 ha plot located in the municipality of Graus (Huesca). The aptitude of the plot for the development of walnut tree has been confirmed from an analysis of the climatology, edaphology and water quality. A plantation with three walnut tree varieties (Howard, Chandler and Franquette) has been designed, involving a drip irrigation system, a well and a tank for water storage. In addition, a walnut tree management and care guide has been drawn up, covering pruning, fertilization, irrigation needs and calendar, measures of action against pests and diseases, as well as a description of the walnut cycle, and the characteristics of the chosen pattern and varieties. Finally, the budget has been detailed and an economic feasibility study has been carried out, concluding that the plantation is profitable.
