<br />In this dissertation, we carry out an analysis of the “youth languages” fundamentally applied to the French language, and a comparison with French slang to establish the current status of the “youth languages”. “Youth languages” are defined as a code born recently, created by the youth with the objective of achieving a more advantageous communication among them and of differentiating themselves from adults; however, slang is a code adopted by a group who uses it with the objective of differentiating or protecting themselves of the rest of society. Our dissertation is composed of seven chapters. We start with an introduction to “youth languages” and slang, and we continue with their definitions and main features. Thirdly, we discuss slang and “youth languages” variety. Fourthly, we focus on verlan’s composition and functioning and compare it with the “youth languages”. Finally, we proceed with a review of the dissertation and, after, we present the conclusions followed by a personal opinion. We base our work on a glossary where we include various slang and “youth languages” examples; we complete our work with a list of the used bibliography. <br /><br /> 000088773 521__ $$aGraduado en Lenguas Modernas 000088773 540__ $$aDerechos regulados por licencia Creative Commons 000088773 700__ $$aJorge Chaparro, María del Carmen$$edir. 000088773 7102_ $$aUniversidad de Zaragoza$$bFilología Francesa$$cFilología Francesa 000088773 8560_ $$f683050@celes.unizar.es 000088773 8564_ $$s1003620$$uhttps://zaguan.unizar.es/record/88773/files/TAZ-TFG-2020-164.pdf$$yMemoria (fre) 000088773 909CO $$ooai:zaguan.unizar.es:88773$$pdriver$$ptrabajos-fin-grado 000088773 950__ $$a 000088773 951__ $$adeposita:2020-05-13 000088773 980__ $$aTAZ$$bTFG$$cFFYL 000088773 999__ $$a20200212110747.CREATION_DATE
