Notas: This master's thesis study analyzes the artistic process of the biyan hu from three different angles. On the one hand, we make a historical study, from the introduction of biyan hu from Europe to China in the 16th century, presenting the technical and stylistic evolution of biyan hu. Secondly, we value the importance of this type of objects both in the Chinese context and in the field of international collecting. Finally, we have cataloged the 25 biyan hu that are kept in the Zargoza Museum and that were collected by Federico Torralba Soriano.
