Resumen: Migración y extranjería son coordenadas desde las que se ha escrito buena parte de la mejor poesía de estos últimos siglos, una poesía que pone en cuestión y trastrueca su propia mismidad al emplazarse en territorios donde germina la otredad. Si a lo largo de la historia la poesía ha proporcionado oportunidades para nombrar el mundo de otra manera, desde los inicios de la modernidad se ha presentado como un banco de pruebas para explorar las imágenes de la otredad, esas representaciones simbólicas que permanecen semienterradas y que nos recuerdan que más allá o al margen de nuestro mundo hay mundos por los que nuestras conciencias no han transitado.
Migration and alienness are coordinates from where much of the best poetry of these last centuries has een riĴenǰ poetry that calls into uestion and disrupts its o n sameness when placed in lands where otherness germinates. If throughout history poetry has provided opportunities to name the world in another way, since the beginning of modernity it has presented itself as a test bed to explore the images of otherness, those symbolic representations that remain half buried and that remind us that, beyond or on the sidelines of our world, there are worlds through which our consciences have not travelled.
