El grabado y la ilustración del libro antiguo, Patrimonio Histórico. Una propuesta de catalogación en Aragón para un uso didáctico

Resumen: El libro y el grabado forman parte del Patrimonio Histórico español y, por tanto, están protegidos por la legislación generada para tal fin; aunque la vulnerabilidad del papel y el atractivo del libro ilustrado y las estampas hayan hecho que se produjeran importantes mermas en las bibliotecas privadas y públicas. Un mayor cuidado y sensibilidad han sido necesarios para preservar dicho legado, dentro del adecuado marco legal que lo protege. De igual modo y con el mismo interés, sería preciso tener un exhaustivo conocimiento de la ubicación de grabados en todos los impresos antiguos que forman parte de nuestro patrimonio bibliográfico en Aragón para un uso didáctico.
Books and engraving are part of the National historical heritage in Spain and, therefore, legally protected; but its vulnerability because the paper and the attractiveness of illustrations and prints have led to significant losses in public private and public state libraries. Greater care and sensitivity have been necessary to preserve this legacy, protected by the more adecuated legal framework. In the same way and with the same interest, it would be obligatory to have an exhaustive knowledge of the location of engravings in all the old prints that are part of our bibliographic heritage in Aragón for a didactic use
