La dimensión religioso-moral de la voz ἀναμάρτητος en Plutarco

Resumen: El término ἀναμάρτητος, cuya dimensión semántica no ha recibido estudios monográficos en la tradición filológica, merece una consideración detenida, particularmente atractiva en el corpus plutarqueo. Tras una concisa valoración del adjetivo en la historia de la literatura griega, con el presente artículo subrayamos la relevancia religioso-moral —en términos cuantitativos y cualitativos— que la voz ἀναμάρτητος adquiere en la producción del Queronense, quien readapta el significado del vocablo y explora la acepción mencionada del mismo de una manera doctrinal, estilística y retóricamente innovadora: los seis pasajes pertinentes que aquí comentamos abocan a conclusiones de relevancia sobre los objetivos didácticomorales, religiosos y teológicos de Plutarco.

The term ἀναμάρτητος, which has not yet been examined in a case study from a semantic point of view, deserves thorough consideration, par-ticularly attractive in Plutarch’s corpus. After concisely assessing the adjective in the history of Greek literature, in this article we will under-line the religious and moral relevance —both in quantitative and qualitative terms— that the word ἀναμάρτητος takes on in the work of Plu-tarch, who readjusts the meaning of the term and explores its religious and moral acceptation in a doctrinal, stylistic and rhetorically innovative way. The six pertinent extracts that we comment in this article lead to conclusions of relevance on Plutarch’s didactic, moral, religious and theolo-gical objectives.
