Recent outcomes in time-dependent driven polymer translocation: A brief review
Resumen: Translocation processes have long been a topic of interest in the scientific community due to their involvement in fundamental biological functions, as well as applications in nanotechnology. This review explores the translocation of coarse-grained polymer chains through extended pores, focusing on the results obtained under time dependent drivings applied either within the cavity (active pore) or at the polymer’s extremities (end-pulled). Additionally, the review discusses the potential application of polymer translocation in identifying protein secondary structures, and in this context presents promising preliminary outcomes.
