Notas: Resumen disponible también en inglés Abstract This final dissertation aims to respond to a double challenge: how to teach the change from the Middle Ages to the Early Modern Age through the second-order concept of change and continuity. For this purpose, four learning activities have been designed in which the changes and continuities in food, society, the transmission of ideas and art in these historical periods are worked on. The paper is divided into: a) an analysis of the status of the issue of the didactics of change and continuity, in which the problems, benefits and solutions that have been proposed so far are explained, b) a description of the four activities and c) a comparative analysis of the activities with an overall assessment.
