Resumen: En este Trabajo Fin de Grado se investiga sobre la escuela rural, en general, y el modelo organizativo de Centro Rural Agrupado (CRA), en particular. Se trata de un campo temático muy interesante por el futuro incierto que presentan muchos aularios rurales y las dudas sobre la eficacia de la formación que reciben los escolares en ellos. En cuanto a la estructura del TFG, tras reflexionar sobre los conceptos de territorio rural, escuela rural y CRA, me centro en analizar las estrategias, procedimientos y actividades que los docentes utilizan en este ámbito, con la doble finalidad de enjuiciar críticamente cómo se organiza y desarrolla el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje en la etapa de Educación Infantil y hacer una propuesta de mejora del mismo. Para ello, tomo como referente un centro concreto, el CRA Palancia-Mijares, sobre el que explicaré las características de su territorio, su estructura organizativa y las particularidades fundamentales del proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje, lo que me permitirá detectar los puntos fuertes y débiles y hacer una propuesta de mejora. Metodológicamente, el trabajo combina la revisión bibliográfica sobre la escuela rural y el territorio de los cuatro aularios del CRA Palacia–Mijares, con la consulta de fuentes estadísticas sobre los municipios del CRA publicadas por la Comunidad Valenciana y una labor de campo desarrollada en los aularios y materializada en las entrevistas mantenidas con el profesorado de la etapa de Educación Infantil del mismo.

Notas: This Final Project Degree is an investigation about rural schools and an organisational model of Grouping Rural Centre, (what is known as CRA: Centro Rural Agrupado). This thematic field is very interesting because of the uncertain future that a lot of rural classrooms present and the doubts about the efficacy of the training that the students receive in this kind of schools. In connection with the structure of this project, after some reflection about the concepts of rural territory and grouping rural centre, I will analyse the strategies, procedures and activities that teachers use in this field. This is done so with the twofold purpose of: first, discussing critically how to organise and develop the teaching learning process in the Infant education level; and second, making a proposal related to how to improve it. To do this, I study a concrete centre, the Palancia-Mijares CRA (grouping rural centre), located between the areas or lands of Alto Palancia and Alto Mijares, in the inner western side of the province of Castellón. I explain the characteristics of the territory, its organisational structure and its basic particularities concerning the teaching learning process. All this has allowed me to detect the strong and weak points of the teaching-learning system and also to make a proposal for the improvement of the educational process of teaching and learning under the conditions found in the CRAs or grouping rural centres. Methodologically, this work combines: first, a bibliographic review about the rural school and the territory of the four classrooms of the CRA Palancia-Mijares; second, the consultation of the statistical resources of CRA villages published by Valenciana Community; and third, fieldwork developed in the classrooms and materialised in the interviews maintained with the teachers of the level of Infant Education of this school.
