Work-family practices and organizational commitment: the mediator effect of job satisfaction
Resumen: This article analyzes the mediator effect of job satisfaction in the relationship between the availability of work-family practices and employees'' organizational commitment. Empirical data from employees working for family-friendly awarded firms shows that when employees perceive that work-family practices are really available to them, they are more satisfied in their jobs and demonstrate more organizational commitment.
