Resumen: This article presents part of the findings from the doctoral thesis “The Functions and Roles of the Integrated Network of Educational Counselling (RIOE) in Aragón from the Perspective of Counsellors and Teachers.” The study involved 150 counsellors from the RIOE and 442 teachers across all educational stages. The article reports data obtained through an ad hoc questionnaire, regarding the roles with which RIOE professionals identify themselves, as well as the roles teachers associate with these educational counselling services. The results reveal a mismatch between the perceptions of counsellors and those of teachers. Among other aspects, counselling services prioritise providing advice to achieve educational transformation through the role of change agent; however, teachers do not identify counselling services with this transformative role.
